What kind of hair style would suit me?

I have blackish brown hair and brown eyes. I've grown out my hair and I think is time to get a new look. I go back to school very soon and I've been thinking what kind of style would suit me? My face is ovalshaped and I'm not exactly sure what would suit me. Bangs, short, curls.? If you have any ideas or suggestions please list them below

-THANKS

You can upload your picture to a site that has different styles for short hair and see if the new style fits you and your personality.

I'd say get your hair trimmed an inch or so off the bottom (to get rid ofsplit ends). Then get some layers, and maybe some side swept bangs. I didn't know if i should get bangs either but i got the side swept ones, and they look awesome! Hope this helps

I think it really depends on your personal 'style' and what you will and will not be willing to try. The best thing I could tell you to do is to go to a stylist and ask their opinion, and flip through some hair books. Compare their features to yours, and decide if the cut they are wearing looks good for them - as well as if it may look good for you.

It's all personal opinion, but I would stay away from really short bangs as they tend to look a little childish. Longer bangs that are swept to the side can be pretty (but can also get in the way), and long layers can give a nice shape to your hair.

People with oval-shaped faces really don't have too many problems wearing any type of cut - but if your hair is too long, it tends to make your face look longer, too.

Good luck.
