before i even looked at the second picture i was visioning one much like it. I am in cosmetology school so youre getting a semi professional opinion i guess. i think the second style would look very cute she would look very good with a little volume and a warmer(darker color) it would compliment her skin. replace the blonde highlights with deep red ones

i would definitely go with the second picture because shorter side bangs would show off her features more- i think she is really pretty. but going from really long hair to shoulder-length hair could be too big of a leap and could turn into a disaster, so i would suggest maybe a little longer than shoulder lenght. good luck!
