Its sort of a mix between corn rolls and a twist. You twist your hair tight against your head and tie it back with small bands. Usually the hair style is done three to five times along the front of your head (forehead) to a short distance back before flowing freely.
Sorry I cant find any pictures to show and I dont know what its called. But Id like to figure it out so I can wear it to graduation.

are you talking about twisties?? if you are they look really cute with curly hair as well...(or if you have straight hair then just curl the part that is twisted...) there is a pic at the following link...
