Ok, so my salonist cut my hair way shorter than I expected. Now it barely touches the shoulder. I've never had short hair. Please help....what kind of hair styles can I do with short hair? thanks so very much...

You'll be fine. There are so many options with short hair! I really enjoy the short hair because I can go for frequent hair cuts and keep an updated look...but that's me.

Try different things:

-You can flat-iron your hair to make it sleek and appear longer

-You can curl your hair...a head of ringlets can look cute...or wretched, but try it.

- You can still do a pony tail, but you might need the help of a head band

- My favorite style is to take chunks of my hair, twist them tight and bobby pin them up...it's a cute messy updo

- You can curl the ends under

- You could part it to the side, dry it straight and put a clip in your hair

- french braid it (this is awesome for short hair, if you frenchbraid it you can get all the shorter pieces)

- no piggy tails unless you're twelve

Have your best girl come over and help you. The two of you can try out different hair styles. She'll tell you if it's a bad look and what looks great!

The good thing about short hair is you don't fall into the "ponytail rut" that every long haired girl does...

umm there arent much, you could do short pig tails, but that looks kinda wierd. look at famous people with short hair and see what they did

Any style! A style i would do is the pig tails or just some curls, make it stright do anything!!Look at other peoples styles you might like their styles so try them on you!! hope this works for you,

I have short hair and there is 2 styles that i use. 1. get a blow dryer curling iron and pull your hair up by the roots with the blow dryer and that will give it volume and at the ends curl it towards your face. You can also use this with a brush and blow dryer. 2. do the same thing but at the ends curl outward away from your face. hope this helps!
