Hair help..?

I have meduim long length of hair, it's light brown and wavy when i don't straighten it. i hate my hair though, and i want to try something shorter. I have freckles on my face (not too much, but not just barely any) and i don't know how i should cut my hair, or if it would look good for that matter... i need some tips, on hair styles, and hair lengths please!

My hair sounds about the same. I personally wouldnt cut it too short. If I were to cut it I would have it put in layers. Then it would look different but not nessacarily alot shorter. And make sure its long layers. Thats the way my wavy/curly hair is cut. Now my hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders but is like i said cut into long layers. And as far as styling wavy hair---never blow dry it!!! I get up early enuff in the morn to wash my hair and put just a lil mousse and antifrizz serum in it while its wet and scrunch it a lil. Then while I am cleaning or making breakfast i let it air dry for an hour and a half. Then once it has air dried it looks great. Try that.

Most hairstylists offer a free consultation where they could discuss different lengths, how hard it would be to style, what's right for your face shape, etc. I think that's your best course of action if you are thinking of a change. As for your freckles.....who cares they make you who you are. How boring it would be if everyone looked the same.
