Thats alright, but I tend to prefer a guy to have shorter, dark, slightly messy on top hair - but not too messy. The back and sides should be neat and tidy.

As long as the hair is done tastefully, is not messy, and is in a style that suits the individual, I approve.
Edit to comment on the specific hair style you asked about: Looks good on him. Would look good on, for example, my younger brother, but not my older one. Wouldn't look good on every man. And seems like a lot of trouble to maintain.

I don't like long hair on men unless you are 100% Native American and have those big, sharp cheek bones and silky jet black hair. When anyone elses hair grows out it is either too abundant or too stringy.

Neat...no heavy or hard products. Something we can run our fingers thru. If you have long hair (past the ears) please, no facial hair...hairy is bad and gross.
