I need a new hair style???

my hair is like kind of like this it is thick and has a wavy texture

but just a half inch shorter. i dont like it because it kind of flips in and is really bulky.

will straigtening make it look more better?

this girl i know has the same length as me and it looks really cute because it is straight.

also do you know what choppy layers are? do they make your hair look more bluntly cut?

i'm 14 and i really dont like my hair i want something that is in style!

please help!

Usually straightening it does make it look less bulky. But if you're hair is that bulky, beware of side bangs, unless you want to straighten them every single day. Choppy layers aren't cut with scissors, so they aren't blunt. Hope I helped.

P.S. I wouldn't cut your hair any shorter than it already is.

Oh, and play with your hair. Scrunch it one day, put it in different kinds of styles. Low ponytails, french braids, there are so many varieties! Also, wear it with confidence.
