How do i style my hair into a emo hairstyle?

I want to get an emo haircut but idk how to style it into one of those cool looking emo haircus..Im a guy.I think those haircuts are cool.I have long hair..but kind of short bangs....(my mom cut the bangs)Can anyone send me a video or a website link showing me or telling me how to make my hair into an emo hairstyle?I want the haircut that like its long on top where it covers the left eye and the sides are short but still looks blended with the top part....i hope you know what im saying.

First you would want to talk to your hairstylist so that your hair can kind of grow and become that style. As for styling I would apply a straightening (balm, gel,cream, milk etc) and blow drying it with a round brush(don't but too much product in your hair). When you blow dry it make sure that you have the blow dryer close to your hair when you do it (not too close) Just make sure the straightening product protects against heat damage. That should do the trick (it works for me)

The straightening product I use is: Brilliant Brunette Runway Straight Smoothing Milk

Just don't straighten it. It doesn't looks good. Do what I told you. It works.

don't gel it flat. that would look ridiculous. you don't want it to look like you plastered your hair on your head.

if i were you i would go on myspace and look at all the scene kids. or maybe you should try being original!
