Good hair product?

I am getting very frusterated. I have short hair, similar to my avie. One side of my hair likes to naturally curl under, while the other side flips out. So I use a flat iron to style. I have used every product on this earth , and nothing seems to work. If I use a super hold hair spray my head feels like a helmet. Wax makes my hair feel greasy. Any suggestions? I realize I don't leave too many options...

Try getting a starch spray meant for hair. Redkin at most salons carries a good one. You just spray it on your hair, use your heated device and whola it holds position. A little sprits of hair spray and you on your way!

Setting your hair in rollers in the same direction and sleeping with them overnight would do the trick.

The only shampoo you need to use is one that moisturizes well along with a good conditioner. Nexxus has a good product line. Don't settle for anything else.

Maybe you aren't putting the product in right, go out and buy Garnier Nutrice , Sleek and shine Creme`. DON"T GET THE SERUM OR THE GEL! They will make your hair greasy, Now! When putting it in your hair, flip your head upside down ,and work it from the very nape of your neck 9where the hair starts) to the ends of the hair, remember less is always more, so use a little at first and if you need more, take some.

P.S. When blow drying always keep tension on the hair, and when flat ironing, make sure you hold the iron at an angle, so the hair is kind of kittycornered at the top of the flat iron.

Have you tried blow drying with a curl brush? I have the same issue and that's what I've done.

These days I don't fight my hair as much. I dye my hair every month so I let it curl a little here and there. I use Kusco Murphy products after drying my hair for conditioning and styling. It helps to control the curl somewhat.

I have the same problem.....What i use is i blowdry my hair then straighten it with a chi. It works great....but ussually after a couple hours my hair does that flip thing again.....i would recamend a gel that is used for people w curly hair and it is designed to keep ur hair straight. ASK UR HAIRDRESSER next time u go get ur hair done!!!!! HOPE I HELPED!!!!!!!!
