Alot of my front hairs had fried off lol. I said i'd get highlights to start fixing my hair up but now i dont do anything to it. I cant even run a comb through it. it's annoying. it gets tangled. i hate it. i also got a haircute about a year ago and my hair used to grow real fast and this time, it didnt. what could i take to make my hair grow faster and for it to be healthy or healthier again? im just gonna dye it dark brown, to my natural hair color. so it wont look as damaged.

My hair is damaged and fried?

Helping it grow, no idea. Healthy well you make sure you drink TONS of h20, sleeping helps your body heal, and you can try washing it with tea tree oil, it will help, just put a drop or two in your palm with your shampoo.

My hair is damaged and fried?

A very similar thing happened to me I was sooo mad. Well depending on how long your hair is you should probably cut off as much as you can stand to help with combing. Never comb or brush your hair when its wet that will be worse. Wait till dry then be patient to carefully comb it out starting at the bottom working up. When washing it use a lot of conditioner strengthening, mosturizing deep conditioning, etc. Don't dye it yet! You will be even worse off. My hair looks terrible now but im not willing to risk dying or bleaching it until it grows out more. Use anti frizz stuff to tame the hairs that stick up. I recomend sunsilk tame the frizz. Is your whole head messed up or just the bangs? You shouldn't put your hair up for a while either. Try to keep it tangle free when you get it. I heard that taking prenatal vitamins made hair grow faster I would check on it though to be sure because i ve not tried it yet. I know 2 people who have done it. Also you can take vitamin e they come in gel like tablets, that is for healthy skin and nails too, then similar to that is fish oil dont worry it comes in tablets too. Good luck!

My hair is damaged and fried?

You should find yourself a great hairstylist and allow that person to take good care of your hair until it grows back healthy again. And once your hair is healthy again if you decide that you want to color your hair again consult with your stylist first and make sure its okay. If he or she says its okay then pick a nice warm subtle color that will not bend or break your hair. Stay away from light hair colors such as bleach and platinum blondes, because the lighter your hair is the more prone it is to breakage.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-90642818978031682412010-06-19T21:58:00.000-07:002010-06-19T21:58:28.259-07:00Make-over?
Where can I find clothes that look good with short hair?

It's hard to explain. I have short hair, and nothing to do with it.

If you've had short hair- you know what I'm saying.

I'm growing it out, and when you grow out really short hair, it tends to look mullet-like in the back. which makes my clothes not look good on me, I have no clue why.

I don't know if these pictures are good enough for an example but here they are.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g95/Co...

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g95/Co...

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g95/Co...

I want to know what type of clothes out of these three categories would make my hair not so noticeable until it grows out completely;

1. Hippie

2. Vintage

3. 50's style

Pictures of cute hair styles that are easy to do would help as well.

does this make sense? If so, please.. give me your best answer.

If not, email me and PLEASE HELP!!!

Make-over?

I have short hair and have no idea what you mean. Practically everything I put on looks good. And I don't think your hair looks anything like a mullet.

Go with hippie. My favorite style and since everyone is hung up on stupid abercrombie, hollister, and other stores that are practically all the same, no one will have the same clothes as you which in my opinion is a plus.

Make-over?

i think you could wear a polo?

or big sunglasses and a vintagy dress to like the knees?

Make-over?

vintage is hot choose it

Make-over?

I would totally go for vintage. You would look so cute. I actually like your hair. It would look super cute if you did big soft wavy curls in it. Or maybe a cute headband.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-51390795296832424112010-06-19T21:57:00.001-07:002010-06-19T21:57:56.454-07:00If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensat
I REALLY like my stylist. She's a doll, and she has cut my hair this style before. Even when we've decided on refinements to this style, I've always been happy with her work. One time she didn't really layer it enough, and I simply went back and she layered it some more. This is more difficult-- it's too short, and the subtle changes which she has made really change the character of the cut.

I like her. We've even talked about going out for coffee together. She knows I'm not quite happy with the cut, but is there a next step? If so, what might it be?

I DEFINITELY don't want to upset or offend her.

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

Since she's done a good job until now, and you really like her...I would just let it go this time. Make sure to let her know next time she cuts it again, to be careful about the length...and be specific

I have a great stylist that I have been going to for years, but when it comes to my bangs . . .I ALWAYS remind her about my cowlick and that I need it longer. Any good stylist will appreciate these kind of reminders because no one knows your hair like you do.

The good news is that even the worst hair cut will grow out!

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

Dont ask for compensation. Well whats done its done and your hair will grow back. Its only once she cut too short so maybe you go back and tell her you think its really short and what can you do to your hair maybe like putting hair wax and changing a nice new look :)

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

It's just hair, and hair grows. If you ask for compensation, you might offend her. But, make sure that you explain about the cut you want the next time you visit the salon. Perhaps then you can also tell her you were having a hard time with the previous cut. Do not expect any compensation even then, but still she'll know what happened and that you will speak up if it happens again.

Good Luck!

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

you should tell her exactly what you want to tell her. you should not be afraid to tell ANYONE what you are feeling. just be honest and she will respect your thoughts

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

this has happened with me too. my hair stylist cut my hair too short. but i didn't say anything coz she always does a good job with my hair. i let my hair grow for a 2 months and then went to her. i told her that the last time she cut it too short. and she was really understanding and fixed it for me.

so wait around for a few month let ur hair grow. and tell ur hairstylist that u don't want it too short just the way it used to be. i m sure she will understand.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-63428552640086424052010-06-19T21:57:00.000-07:002010-06-19T21:57:25.563-07:00I need a good hair straightening product for men!?
Not Irons.. my hair is too short. Thats what i do when it gets too hot.

P.S. be wary of products that boast placenta as a key ingredient. A study has shown that it causes your hormones to go crazy, resulting in all sorts of cancers.

What is the best shampoo to use?

Selsun medicated!

What is the best shampoo to use?

Redkin, but it gets pricey if you don't buy it on sale.Cheaper alternatives are Dove and Pantene, both probably have shampoos with extra moisturizing.

What is the best shampoo to use?

John Freida. It is a little expensive but you only need a drop of shampoo so it lasts forever.

What is the best shampoo to use?

Girl, let me tell you. Theres this conditioner that you can get in a beauty supply shop and its called "Hask %26amp; Placenta." Placenta, i know ew that sounds really gross but trust me its not like human placenta, its a protein extract.

Try it! trust me i have the same product and its a cheap and extremely moisturizing conditioner. Afterwards, use biosilk or a leave in conditioner that doesnt weigh your hair down. Try not to use products with alcohol in them either because that sucks the moisture right out of your hair. Good luck!

What is the best shampoo to use?

try a dove moisturizing shampoo and then some herbal essences conditioner. (i like the coconut smell of it :p)

What is the best shampoo to use?

PANTENE ICE!

What is the best shampoo to use?

From your Yahoo! avatar your hair seems to be brown, I would go with Brillant Brunett-John Frida

What is the best shampoo to use?

The Jada's Recipe treatment, from http://carolsdaughter.com/ , it will make your hair so helthy, and even help it grow, well. Try it.

What is the best shampoo to use?

I am using Garnier products right now because my hair is colored but it is good stuff for inexpensive. I would get Garnier shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged hair and then use a Garnier texturizing water-based shine wax or fiber gum to tone down the dryness and give you some shine and style.

What is the best shampoo to use?

Well, what work great for me is the Garnier Nutrist. I like the more expensive shampoos though. There's some great shampoo that has tea tree oil in it. If you mix in a little coconut oil with your regular stuff (or you can just put it (coconut oil) in your hair) it helps make your hair thick and long.

You can also get conditioner that is a hair mask. It might say something on the bottle. Just leave your conditioner in for about 10 - 15 minutes and your hair comes our really moisturized!

What is the best shampoo to use?

Tresseme for dry hair. Also, you can try blending some aloe vera (the pulp inside) and putting it in your shampoo or conditioner, or you can buy something with aloe vera :) (much easier). Ponytail is always cute.

What is the best shampoo to use?

Bumble and bumble works the best. for dry hair creme de coco or alojoba. the bottles are about 20 dollars but you only need a tiny bit and now you can buy Bumble and bumble products at drugstores. if you need it cheaper Mosturizing Sweet Pea shampoo and conditioner from Bath %26amp; Body Works is good.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-47862229569099886112010-06-19T21:56:00.000-07:002010-06-19T21:56:21.283-07:00I have a short forehead, but a round face. I need a style of bangs that would work for my face.?
Short hair makes my face look bigger, and so does not having bangs. I've tried the side bang, it was okay but it took forever to get it just right. I want bangs so my face doesn't look as big. My hair is thick, layered, and about sholder length.

I have a short forehead, but a round face. I need a style of bangs that would work for my face.?

The best ways are obviously side bangs but there are a few types of side fringes. There are short, long, layered, wispy etc.

The best one is a soft, layered fringe that is slightly angled to the side to add a little bit of length to the face. Short fringes also add length to rounded shaped faces. Avoid long fringes as this can emphasis the rounded face and can look too harsh.

Another idea is to add highlights as it can brighten your hair and also change the shape.

You can also add a few panels of different colours to the underneath of the fringe, this also changes the look without changing length, style etc of the hair.

I have a short forehead, but a round face. I got some like two or three months ago and the good tihng is, if you dont want to waer them in front you can style them to the side! I thought the same thing, but no it doesn't effect acne! Just follow your routine you alredy do!

avena

webmaster

http://www.siteadvertising.org

I have a short forehead, but a round face. Mom's usually mean well....but kids will be kids. They are natural born wiggle worms, and there are so many things that can affect the way a hair cut turns out. Even cutting a childs bangs can be disastrous if you dont have the training. Take her to a salon, better yet, a salon that caters to kids. They will be best equiped to deal with a first timer. Many shops that deal alot with kids have special chairs or booster seats, and are very good with kids. Better to have it done right, then to do it yourself and risk making a mess and having to take her in anyway.

How do you cut kids hair?

I dont have kids but when i was little my mom used to take me to a salon to cut it.

How do you cut kids hair?

By buying scissors

How do you cut kids hair?

i HATE CUTING MY KIDS HAIR. i LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS. i RECOMEND GREAT CLIPS, SUPER CUTS, OR LOOK IN THE PHONE BOOK UNDER BEAUTY AND CALL AROUND TO SEE IS THE CHEAPIST.ALSO COSMOTOLIGY SCHOOLS CUT HARI VERY CHEEP.LIKE ITS FIVE BUCKS WHERE I LIVE.

How do you cut kids hair?

With a good pair of scissors.

How do you cut kids hair?

With a scissors!

How do you cut kids hair?

salon.....

How do you cut kids hair?

Use the Flowbe!!!

How do you cut kids hair?

First get a HUGE roll of duct tape to hold the head still, then.............;)

Just kidding.....Here is a great link for hair cutting techniques:

http://www.hairfinder.com/howto/how_to_c...

...jj

How do you cut kids hair?

I think I would take her to the beauty shop. I want an adorable hair style that's a drastic change from what it is now. layers are awesome for me right now I just have a bland boring cut. I want to go crazy with my style, not too crazy, but not boring either. I'm only willing to take 5 inches off (if it's layered I want the bottom layer to be at MOST 5 inches shorter than it is now.

Also, I have thinish hair.

Hair help!!!!?

Here is am awesome site. When you have long hair you really are limited in what you can do outside of curly or straight and such. You can use up-dos and such but there isnt much you can do as a wash and go. Talk to your hair cutter, they will probably tell you much the same. Sorry.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-73156367829456767492010-06-19T21:53:00.000-07:002010-06-19T21:53:08.375-07:00How do you cut kids hair?
My daughter has long straight hair, that i'd like to cut into a shorter style for easier brushing.

Do u think it would look nice on me or should I keep my long hair?

Is Rihanna's latest hair style for me?

You should try it, the length of Rihanna's haircut will make your face look more slender, and your neck longer. The long hair is also harder to take care of than the short look, and it gives you more split ends. So basically- They short hair will give you a more clean, yet edgy look, that will make you look more slender. My friends do it all the time and everybody loves it!!! Also, try french braiding your hair at night while its damp and in the morning it will have that scrunchy look. its really in. if you don't like it then you can straighten your hair or put it in a ponytail. Hope one of these works for you!!!

I need a new hair style. Will someone tell me how to do a new hair style cause it is always the same thing?

I would recommend a good cut and ask for some style suggestions from the haircutter. One time I went in and said, "I know you know what would look best on me so go for it", I closed my eyes and let the haircutter have at it. IT was fun and such a great surprise. Everyone really noticed and I got tons of compliments. P.s Do it with a haircutter that has some sense of style and has been cutting hair for a few years! Good luck.

I need a new hair style. Will someone tell me how to do a new hair style cause it is always the same thing?

I suggest that you should go to a professional or a well-loved hairstylist. Book a consultation. Then tell that hairstylist what you are looking for, how much time you can spend on your hair, and anything else you want. Give her some ideas of what you think might work. The hairstylist then would suggest a variety of hairstyles that meet everyone of your needs.

It is soft and beautiful in spite of the fact that the color is L'Oreal. She is 62 and I love her with all my heart.

So, what is the problem?

She has recently been saying that she is thinking of cutting her hair to a short style more conducive to business image requirements she feels DC dictates.

I love this woman, but would be lying if I said her cutting her hair short would not break my heart. I avoid discussing it with her as she always gets defensive, insisting that I should love her regardless of hair length. I have tried to tell her that I am not saying our relationship is dependant on her hairstyle.........I will never leave her.........BUT........I would be a liar if I denied that her ignoring my love of her long hair would hurt me deeply.

Am I just being selfish? I really need your advice. Should I resign myself to the inevitable or are there ways to convince to leave it long?

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

I don't think it's selfish... it's just what you prefer. You are not saying you would love her any less if she were to cut her hair, rather you are simply saying you prefer it long.

I have really long hair and my husband doesn't hide the fact that he prefers my hair long. I know if I were to cut my hair that my husband would still love me just as much ane find me just as beautiful. However, I value his opinion and would never cut my hair.

In the same respect... he knows that I prefer his hair to be very short and for him to always be clean-shaven. So he does that for me.

Talk about it with her and tell her how you feel. The best policy is to always be honest and most certainly to always communicate with your partner.

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Yes you are being a bit selfish. You will get used to the short hair, and regardless of whether you liked it long better, it is not your place to choose her hair length.

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Short hair can beautiful, especially on older women. Yes, you are being selfish. If you even think of leaving her over this....do you really love her?!

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Ask her to sleep on it,she is obviously not thinking deeply about cutting her hair,be honest about your feelings and encourage her to leave it long, there is no reason she has to cut her hair to look more buisness like, just putting up in a bun will do.Besides long hair is the trade mark of natural feminity.there are lots of long hair support groups online.Like longhairluvers.

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Yes, that is selfish. Professional career woman normally would have shorter than shoulder length hair because of the profile it creates for them. It does look MUCH neater and cared for which tells alot about the woman. So, I would suggest, as a business woman myself, bite your tongue and try it out....let her cut it the way she feels necessary and IT WILL GROW back I am sure. If you absolutely don't like it after the first cut, talk to her about it and maybe she can try a different style next time. Please love her anyway and you never know, she may be sexier to you with a shorter hair do.....good luck!

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

I think she is the one being selfish. if she told you she liked your face clean shaven, wouldn't you go shave it?

I think that she just doesn't want to deal with her hair anymore. ultimately it is her choice, but maybe ask her to not cut it too short, and that way she can still get it cut.

maybe you should suggest finding some hair styles that would look just as professional with out her having to cut her hair. ways to put it up, I mean.

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Selfish,.. maybe,... but maybe you should explain to her just how much her hair gets you... ya know?

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

let her choose what she wants to do. when she gets her haircut then you should tell her the truth

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

well u know it will always grow back

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

You should love her for her not her hair, what if she had cancer and lost her hair, would you love her any less?

I know this is going to sound selfish, but I cannot help it?

Yea, you might be a little selfish on this one, but let's just put that aside and adress your concerns. You say her hair is not an issue, and yet it is the reason for your post. However, you also said that she is cutting her hair to fit a business profile. What you did not adress, however, is how SHE likes her hair. If she likes it long, but is concerned about certain "standards" than your opinion should definately count here. My husband's opinions about my looks are more important to me than anyone's. He is who I want to look good for.

Perhaps there is a compromise here. There are many hairstyles for long hair that are professional. Her age is going to become more of an issue than the professional standards of DC. Older women typically look older with long hair.

As for your selfishness--That might need a little work. This is typically a conversation I would here from a younger group. Surely you know by now what is REALLY important, and can identify that behavior as distructive to your relationship. I say keep that stuff to yourself and show her the support the woman you love deserves. You may not be able to "help it" but you can keep it quiet.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-32314213561833040132010-06-19T21:48:00.000-07:002010-06-19T21:48:19.931-07:00Any ideas for a new hair color style with black????
I have short ( a little longer than shoulder length) hair with layers. I want to dye my hair and it want black on the bottom half of my hair and some sort of blonde idea on the top half. i was thinking maybe keeping my natural brown color on the top and just putting streaks and still have black on bottom, or i could do the bottom half black, and have the top half split in half again (kinda like 3 layers on with MORE black and less of the other 2 colors) and have the middle layer be borown (Natural) and the top be blonde..i dont know what a good looking style would be that is origional so it doesnt seem like im copying anyone.. but i dont want it to look stupid. I just need an idea for the top panel cause the bottom half is DEFINATELY going to be Black. Always use conditioner, and apply some anti frizz serum, it keeps it soft, and shiny and healthy. Without that my hair is so dry. That's my advice.

And always use some serum when you straighten it, or buy some Smooth Cream, that's what it's called, It's a pink tube. It's the best for when straighting your hair. It prevent it from burning, and breakage. Stop buy a salon and ask about it, they should sell it at a beauty store also.

Keep it moisturized, that's the key!! ( dry hair breaks)

Hope it helps!! = )

Keeping Hair Healthy?

you should try %26amp; invest in a good flat iron that won't damage your hair

like a Chi maybe

Keeping Hair Healthy?

Moisture! Lots of moisture. Use a natural shampoos with lots of moisture-based ingredients, like coconut, shea butter and banana, get yourself a fantastic, thick conditioner, and look into some great, natural hair masks or leave-ins. The Body Shop has some unbelievable ones.

A really good thing to do every couple of weeks: completely puree an avocado , and work it into your hair. Wrap your hair up in a warm towel, relax for 10-20 minutes, then wash it out. Enjoy!

Keeping Hair Healthy?

just use head and sholders that works good

Keeping Hair Healthy?

There's this product by Loreal that helps you shield the heat. It's hot pink colored and I think it's something called Hot Cream?

Good Luck.

閳绢檳.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

Unlike what the poster Lisette said, using heat tools on your hair will damage it. The best thing to do is let it air dry, or use a blow dryer on a cool or warm setting if you must.

The best way to take care of your hair is using a shampoo with no SLS and conditioner with no silicone derivatives. Since your hair is short, you might not need conditioner until it grows longer. I recommend Jason Natural hair products: http://www.jason-natural.com/products/ev...

You can find them at Long's Drugs, Whole Foods or it's cheapest if you order online from vitacost.com

Since your hair is short, how about pinning it with bobby pins or mini claw clips? I always think that looks cute.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

Pick a product that says "head activated" or "heat protection" on the label. These will keep yout hair healthy and safe from damage.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4488807691301582825.post-32499850653045510572010-06-19T21:46:00.001-07:002010-06-19T21:46:45.174-07:00Semi formal help!?
my three friends and i are going to semi formal and i need alot of help because i agreed to help them with dresses, shoes, etc

friend # 1 is a bigger girl, plus size, gorgeous red hair and i was thinking an emerald green dress. what style would be good? and what shoes would be good. pointed toe? open toe? or rounded toe?

friend number two, kiera knightly type, very slender, maybe a b cup, brown hair, shoulder length or shorter. what color dress and what color shoes would go with it and.

friend number three, very short hair, purple right now but we're probably dying it. i was thinking a red dress and her having chocolate brown hair, what color shoes and would a different color dress be better? what hair style would be good for her short hair. spikey? sleek? any suggestions? thanks!

Semi formal help!?

It depends on the style of dress.. Either in vibrant colors, reds, greens, blues, pinks, or in natural colors like red or even a dark brown or black.

But whatever style you pick, remember that emo hair is all about being yourself, so integrate your own ideas into your hair.

Seriously, it IS your hair. It should be you.

So I hope I helped! Hope your hair turns out good.

http://missmurder83.files.wordpress.com/...

Try that for a general idea. It's Not me, not anyone I know, it's just a link to help that I foind on a haircut sight a while ago.
Despinarghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12926037422399713987noreply@blogger.com0
